The morning
RKC
prep portion of the kettlebell workshop will be
centered around the "basic 6" RKC kettlebell
exercises. This training assumes that the
attendee has a good understanding of
RKC kettlebell principles and
basics.
To ensure this, we recommend that the
attendees have
passed the
HKC,
and/or spent time with an RKC practicing these
basics. This is aimed at refining the
kettlebell skills necessary to pass the RKC.
This is not an advanced kettlebell
workshop, but those who show up unprepared
will miss the benefits of this section. Now is
the time to get the best of both workshops by
Master RKC Jeff O'Connor,
sign up for the May
8, 2010 Springfield Mo
HKC.
The afternoon section will be focused on using
kettlebells to improve athletic performance.
This kettlebell workshop is designed
to help coaches use kettlebells and RKC
principles for athletic applications. This is the
place to get your questions answered on why and
when things are appropriate and how to get the
most value in the least time for your athletes.
It will teach you to structure your
training sessions in a way that enhances athletic
performance while developing strength and work
capacity. The unfortunate reality
is that many strength and conditioning
programs actually decrease the
athleticism of the participants.
This is the information that will separate
you from your competition.
